Single-origin chocolate is made with beans from a single origin, either a coop from a distinct region or a single farm. Chocolate much like wine or coffee has very distinct flavor profiles that are inherent to the place they are from.

By using single origin chocolate we are able to get the true flavor profile of that bean rather than blending multiple flavor profiles together. Not only does it taste better and more complex but we know where our beans are coming from and can ensure they are ethically farmed, sourced and the farmers are being paid a fair price for their harvest. That makes the chocolate all the sweeter.

ABOUT THE FARM
Made up of 3000 smallholder farmers, most of whom farm between 0.5-2 acres of cocoa. Kokoa Kamili pays a premium--well above the market rate--to farmers for their ‘wet’ cocoa, and conducts its own fermentation and drying.

Kokoa Kamili is situated in the Udzungwa Mountains National Park, an area known for its abundance of bird and mammal wildlife.

ABOUT THE FARM
The Anamalai Farm is a cocoa, coconut, and nutmeg farm located near the town of Pollachi, in a region famous throughout India for its high quality coconuts. The entire area, located at the southernmost foothills of India’s Western Ghats, is covered in coconut plantations.

This new dark milk is quickly becoming the fan favorite, smooth milk flavor whilst keeping all the flavor notes of the beans with milky caramel and a slight fruit finish.
