You’ve heard of small batch.
We’re littler than that.

Little batches and little bars, made in a little city by a little founder.
And why should that matter to you?
Being little—and staying little—allows us to act righteously.
And that righteousness is what makes the chocolate so damn good!
We are working at a scale where we can choose not to compromise.
On anything.
So we don’t.
Only the best cacao beans, that we are 100% certain are ethically sourced.
Only organic evaporated cane juice instead of processed sugars.
Only stupidly excellent milk when we need it.
Only the most righteous, delicious chocolate bars.
Made by hand, to the unusually high standards of our little operation.

We also will not *ever* compromise on the human rights side of sourcing and production. The cacao trade can be sketchy to say the least, and often is criminal. If you want to know more about that, google “cacao human rights violations.”

Little Burde is a queer woman-owned and operated little business in San Francisco.
We are proud of that, and proud of the chocolate we make.
Try one of our little bars. They’re just the right size...
